As a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience and Laser Technician working with Nd:YAG, Alexandrite, and Diode Lasers, and IPL for over 4 years , I understand the importance of health and safety when it comes to any procedure. MEDICAL TREATMENTS
Dermatophytes are the fungi most commonly responsible for causing Onychomycosis. They are specialized organisms that live off of keratin which is the main component of nails and skin. Everyone is at risk for infection because fungus is present everywhere in the environment. Laser therapy treatment for nail fungus is safe and effective.
OUR LASER
Our Cynosure Elite+™ Dual Platform Laser provides revolutionary technology combining two optimal laser wavelengths in one system: the 755-nm Alexandrite laser and the 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser. The 755-nm wavelength has high melanin absorption characteristics and proven long-term results for permanent hair reduction. The high-powered 1064-nm Nd:YAG laser is the safest wavelength for permanent hair reduction on darker skin types and tanned skin, and is effective in targeting hemoglobin for vascular treatments, as the longer wavelength can penetrate up to 3mm deep allowing ideal absorption into the mid-dermis.
